Idaho Unclaimed Funds

By unclaimedfunds 13 Comments

Idaho is currently holding over $110 million in unclaimed funds!

Annually, millions of dollars are turned over to the State of Idaho.

These properties may include:

  • stocks,
  • bonds,
  • mutual funds,
  • bank accounts,
  • uncashed payroll checks,
  • utility deposits,
  • traveler’s checks,
  • contents from safety deposit boxes, and more.

The state acquires property, which in this case does not mean land, from “holders” such as corporations, business associations, utility companies, medical offices and insurance companies after there has been no customer contact for five years.

The following video features real people from the State of Idaho that have discovered how quick and easy it is to find and claim their lost assets. Search for yourself, your friends, and your family today!

The State of Idaho serves as the custodian for Unclaimed Property. Per Idaho code effective 2012 all property will remain available forever.

It is the states mission to reunite this unclaimed property with the rightful owner.

If it is in Idaho, go here, do the search, and then follow the instructions to start the claim process.

Thank you, I updated the link. I’m not sure what the issue was because the address is the same, but it’s working now.

      Shannon,
What graph are you referring to? Are you referring to the state map? I know it is tough to get the correct state sometimes on a mobile device. I think I will put links to each state under the map to make it easier. I just want to make sure that is what you are referring to.
      Thank you for your input!
